Shipping, Returns, Cancellations & Privacy Notice
LAPond.com cherishes your business and will do everything in our power to ensure you have a shopping experience of the highest caliber. If any issues or difficulties arise, we will do whatever we can to ensure you are left happy and smiling. Please find a few simple guidelines below that will assist you should you need to return products or file a claim.
Our Shipping Process
We ship via UPS or FedEx for the vast majority of orders. Often times palletized orders will ship via one of several freight forwarders that offers the most competitive pricing. This is done to ensure our customers maximize savings by placing their business and trust with us. Please advise if a delivery address is residential as additional charges may apply. Also, not all products qualify for 2-day shipping and they require extra transit time.
Our Refund Policy
Any orders of unused products under $100 and in new condition may be returned for a refund. Orders over $100 may be refunded only with written consent from LAPond.com. Shipping costs will not be refunded except under certain extenuating circumstances. A restocking fee of 10% may apply to orders valued over $100 of the order total will be assessed. Fish and aquatic plants cannot be refunded. LAPond.com reserves the right to refuse refunds if the products are not returned within 45 days, damaged, used, or customer error has occurred.
Filing A Claim or Damage
Please carefully inspect your shipment before acceptance to ensure that no damages occurred during shipment from our facility to your location. If you should choose to refuse your order please notify us immediately. If you accept the shipment, have the driver note the shortage or damage on the bill of lading prior to signing it. Upon acceptance of your order from the shipping company it becomes your responsibility to file any claim(s) with the carrier. We will do what we can to assist you. No claims are allowed after 24 hours of delivery.

Should you wish to cancel your order you can do so by editing your order via the internet or calling our office and either speaking with a representative or leaving a message with the date, time, and desired changes to your order. All cancellations must be made prior to shipment of your order. Once an order is shipped you can still change or cancel your order although you will have to qualify for our return policy.
